Sunday, November 13th 2011 was a very memorable day for the amazing jazz singer Dira Sugandi as she’s married to fellow jazz musician, Elfa Zulham Syah.

The happy couple tied the knot in Bumi Sangkuriang, Ciumbuleuit, Bandung, with a romantic swing jazz 1930’s themed garden party. The lovely bride worn two Sapto Djojokartiko’s collection for her special day, a white lace kebaya for the “akad nikah” ceremony and an off-white sleeveless French lace and tulle dress for the evening reception.

InStyle Indonesia featured the wedding for their February 2012 issue with the images taken by Moko Wong and Della Pham.

Congratulations to the beautiful couple. Wishing both of you a wonderful journey as you build your new life together.

Dira Sugandi arrived at the red carpet of the 14th Anugrah Musik Indonesia 2011 (AMI Awards) on Wednesday, July 06th 2011 wearing Sapto Djojokartiko’s black lurex jacquard dress with gold beads. The nominee for Best Jazz Vocal Performance by Solo, Duo or Group also performed the new rendition of “Pengalaman Pertama” that night where you can see the video below.

Sapto Djojokartiko participated in the launching of Sunsilk Hair Studio at Grand Indonesia on Friday, June 03rd 2011. Just before the event, the designer with other juries was evaluated the entries for ESMOD Jakarta & Swarovski Elements competitions. The winner of the competition will be announced during ESMOD Ground Zero Fashion Festival 2011 on June 20th-23rd at Pacific Place, Jakarta.

Patricia, Adel and Camelie sporting “Hollywood New Edge” hair do created by Qiqi Franky and presented three black dresses with lace and drapery details for the fashion show.

The stunning jazz singer, Dira Sugandi, who performed for the event was wearing Sapto Djojokartiko nude tulle mini dress. This was the third collaborations with her that featured on this blog (click here and here to see the previous performances by Dira Sugandi in Sapto Djojokartiko).

When you visiting Sunsilk Hair Studio at Level 2 East Mall of Grand Indonesia Shopping Town, don’t forget to see the display of the designer’s gold cheongsam dress with beads and sequins that will be displayed until July 31st, 2011 (photo above).
