Sapto Djojokartiko’s metallic sequins and gold lamé dresses were featured on the runway of Grand Final Winning Mark 3, a biennial hair and make up competition. Qiqi Franky presented the amazing make up and one of a kind hair do for each model.

Last Friday, March 30th 2012, Sapto Djojokartiko participated in the closing party of Spring Beauty Festival 2012 “Circue De Beaute” presented by Amica Indonesia and PAC Martha Tilaar.

The fashion show was held at The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place Jakarta, in which the models—Advina Ratnaningsih, Dina Ardiani and Whulan Dary Herman—wore synthetic hair cape, bodysuit, lace top, corset and dress with synthetic hair, beads and embroideries detailing from the Solo born designer that suits the dark, edgy yet sultry make up from Adrian Suryapradipa perfectly.

In this “Calon Arang” editorial published in the January 2012 edition of dewi magazine, with the styling works by Karin Wijaya, make up and hair do by Qiqi Franky and photographed by Davy Linggar, the models—Maiko, Marcella, Anna B, Masha and Julia—are wearing various selection of exquisite lace and sequins dresses with embroideries from the 2012 collection from Sapto Djojokartiko that was presented last November during Dewi Fashion Knights at Jakarta Fashion Week 2012.

Calon Arang is the name of a character from Pramoedya Ananta Toer’s book, “The King, The Witch and The Priest”, that inspired the Solo born designer for the collection titled “Sang Randeng Girah”.
