FashionTV magazine Indonesia featured Sapto Djojokartiko as their “Designer In Focus” in four pages coverage on the May/June 2010 issue. The designer was photographed by Bayu Adhitya.
Priska Andrini wrote in the magazine that “Sapto Djojokartiko’s career has yet to span decades, but what he lacks in experience, he makes up in talent and meticulous craftmanship. Although Sapto’s name is somewhat under the radar in the Indonesian fashion scene, he is a darling to stylists, fashion editors and fashion directors. They adore his elaborate creations!”
She added “Sapto treated his creations like he would his own child, and that is why the Indonesian couturier is here to stay”.
“It changes from time to time. My thoughts take me to wherever I want to go. That’s why I never name my collection with a catchphrase or with clever words. They are what they are” the designer explained on why he never named his collection.
